Well I dont think there is a think tank there to think of what if scenarios.
They just start conservatively and increase by 6 months increment.
More or less they seem to be waiting till May/June to pull triggers and make current.
If INS cannot provide them stats of pending aplications, how will DOS know what to write in bulletin.

The points are not defined well, so do not speculate, it is not abt getting into Wharton / or yale, it takes years to implement a working system, look at Perm, they started in 2001, it took 4 years to implement.

I have the same issue and mine got approved on Sep 10. I contacted my attorney and he told me the same answer as your Lawyer.
Did you use AC21 or still with the same Employer?
I am planning to use AC21 but because of this issue I'm kind of hesitate to do so.

Hi All,
NSC received my I765 applications on June 21st. I am still waiting for my EAD. I have seen many people from NSC got their approval for the same time frame. Is there anypone in the same boat. Is this something I should be worried about.

July 2 filer with NSC, receipt notice on Sep.7, Spouse's EAD approved and card ordered today. But mine is still pending. It seems NSC is speeding up for EAD. Good sign anyway.

When one should feel to donate, they can donate. Doesn't mean that you donated, means everyone should donate.
It is about donation, not Haptaa-vasooli.....
So, before taunting anyone you should understand the meaning of "Donation".
Hold on .... I am NOT taunting any one . Even I did not contribute for many months . I had a major conflict with many IV members including Papu regarding some of IVs objectives.
While I still hold my views , I can see IVs effort in other directions as well and that made me contribute to specific efforts.
Remember , I am using the word "contribute" and not "donate" . That is your word.
It is definitely up to you when you get convinced.

Both Shaktisagar and Greyhair make very valid points. Which side wins the argument well only time will tell. Nothing works the way it ideally should. The world is evolving and this recession and all this policies are all part of the evolution. People have started rethinking the value of having money versus true peace/hapiness slowly. In the US the disparity was partly hidden by the "plastic". Everybody was given a plastic and everybody could buy and live the "dream". Well that has just about ended to some extent. The problem is that, it is just about begining in Indian/china/brazil and russia.
What brings real peace/hapiness? Once 3rd world citizens (like Indians) get over the issue of "am I better than my neighbour?" India will progress towards its real goal very fast. The real goal being true peace and hapiness rather than the pseudo/fancy/fantasy/unreal/materialistic world that is propagated by the media.
If only we all had easy access to our inner ability for tremendous patience to tide over this process of evolution.......But it lies beyond our reach while we lie rolling in the misery created by our thoughts and desires.........

I applied for my AP in august 2007 my case was approved but i didnot get the document . When i called USCIS they told me to reapply for AP .
Now i got the AP document but the date issued is october 12 2008 to october 2009 .
But I want to travel outside in August . Can i use this AP , is the document valid , if i go i cant enter before october 12 2008 .

If you are the derivative how can they check your salary with your spouse's LCA requirements. I think you will be fine. Check with your lawyer. If you want you can switch to EAD anytime. But once you lose H1 you cannot getback on H1.

yes, employer just needs to show that new job is similar to your old job. Its just simply a letter which an employer can(may choose not to as its not mandatory by law but advised to do so) send to USCIS.
For EB2 classification you dont need to do anything, your emplyer need to show that job needs Masters or equivalent and it meets prevailing market salary requirements. So you can just ask them if this position meets EB2 requirements and if they will be wiling to do EB2 filing for you in addition to AC21 (or H1 transer)

It is good to know that you can file a New PERM and a second I-140.
But do you know whether we can file a New I-140 on the basis of the original labor instead of filing a New Perm? I ask this bcoz in cases like mine where i have already exhausted 6yrs, would be difficult to file a PERM now.
I see in some other thread, they did file a new I-140 and they were requested to first withdraw the Appeal, but in that case, do we know whether the new I-140 was approved first before we withdraw?

Applied on line, printed the form.
Attached the following and sent them to USCIS
1) 485 - copy.
2) Old APs 2 - Copies.
3) Cover letter explaining that I need to visit my parents as they are old.
4) DL - Copy.
5) Photos : 2 (write A# and name back of them) (I forgot to send the photos with the application)
I forgot to attach the photos and got RFE, sent photos and approved yesterday. Waiting for the physical copy.

You will find very few insurnce companies willing to provide coverage for a pregnant lady and even if they cover it they won't cover much. You will still end up paying most of it.
Your best bet is to convince your employer to add your spouse to your insurance and pay him the insurance amount. Most employer sponsored health plans allow dependents. Talk with your HR or call the insurance company directly and ask them if you can add dependents to your insurance. Don't mention that your wife is pregnant.
If you are able to add your wife to your insurance then they can't deny benifits for pregnancy as pre-existing. Pregnancy is not a pre-existing condition. They will have to cover it. So the best and cheapest for you is to somehow get her added to your empler sponsored insurance.

The address listed on the E-file generated receipt/Document is P.O. BOX 852401 in Mewquite, TX 75185. Is there another physical address of USCIS for e-filers of EAD to send the supporting documents by courier/FedEx.

What if I-140 is approved , and the primary applicant (H1) is waiting for the PD to be current, and the dependent wants to go to school. Will this have any impact on the GC process?
This issue was discussed in the two threads whose name I don't remember. I did not understand the whole thing. The threads had persons who were doing it or had done it.
